The children have enjoyed exploring pumpkins and other harvest fruit and vegetables in our Nursery setting. A lot of Nursery children were very enthusiastic when given the opportunity to taste different fruits.

We compared the sizes and weights of pumpkins. Together we took turns to scoop out the pumpkin pulp. It was so squishy and slimy. Our pumpkin investigation inspired some fantastic drawing and artwork. The highlight of the topic was enjoying dancing and sampling the delicious treats on offer at our Pumpkin Party!
