Welcome to our wonderful Primary 4.

We have been working extremely hard this term. Our topic for Term 1b is Hot and Cold lands, so far we have been exploring the Artic, Antarctica and volcanoes. We have produced brilliant fact files, researched Robert Falcon Scott and have carried out a science experiment on volcanoes to find out how they erupt.

In Numeracy we have been covering lots of different areas, we are continuing to work on our number bonds for quick recall. We have been focusing on addition, subtraction, time, money, fractions and word problems.

Art is something we thoroughly enjoy in Primary 4, last term we created artwork in the style of Steven Brown called ‘The McCoo.’ We have been drawing polar bears and creating various pieces of artwork relating to our topic. We are excited to start creating some Christmas craft.
