We have done some outdoor learning recently,

planting up young spider plants to grow on and in time,

 sell as a fundraiser.

Fair Trade Chocolate Tasting

We tasted a variety of 6 types of chocolate and found that 21 out of 25 children preferred the familiar Dairy Milk.  A very clear result!

We found out that Cadbury is a supporter of the Fair Trade movement too.

We sampled:

Tony’s Chocolony Milk and Caramel, Sainsbury’s Low Sugar Lidl’s Way to Go and Home Cook varieties.

We enjoyed a very chocolaty afternoon!

After a bit of mental arithmetic, calculating value per 100g, we worked out that Cadbury’s chocolate was second cheapest.

A lot of lessons were learned about marketing and value for money.
