Today P7 visited Maine Business Centre to see the ‘We Will Remember’ – Op Banner Exhibition. Sir James Wilson shared his military service and experiences with the children. Our pupils learned about the history behind the poppy and its charitable contributions. There was great excitement when the children were allowed to hold some of the exhibits. Thank you to Mr Murphy, Mrs Harger and Sir James Wilson for taking the time to share their knowledge and experiences with our children. This exhibition is open to the public from 10am – 4pm on Saturday 12th November 2022.
