The pupils are also learning about people who help them in every day tasks and as part of this learning they wanted to recognise the efforts of their Mums. So we invited all Primary 1 Mums into school to have a cup of tea and some cakes whilst watching their children perform a few songs. As a school we recognise the importance of positive partnerships with parents and also the need for social opportunities to be provided for parents to interact together in a less formal setting. It was a lovely experience for all involved.
