After reading The Runaway Iceberg, Primary One decided to carry out a science experiment to test how quickly they could melt ice. After making their predictions the children put on their safety goggles and checked the equipment. They added water, salt and sugar on top of three ice cubes and observed what happened. They discovered that salt melted the ice quickest and drew a picture to show their conclusion.
