On Friday 10th May, a group of P1 pupils were joined by Johnny from Sustrans. The children took part in a ‘Ditch the Stabilisers’ session. Johnny helped to build their skills step by step (or pedal by pedal!) until all children were able or almost able to ride their bikes without stabilisers. It was a great morning and the progress made by the children in such a short space of time was astounding. Thank you to the accompanying family members who came along with each child, your support and encouragement helped the children become more confident as the session went on. As always, a huge thank you to Johnny, whose expertise and capabilities were very evident this morning in helping each child to achieve!
