The children of Primary 7 have been busy making “Spy Thriller” trailers. At the beginning of Term 2B both P7 classes wrote stories (narrative) based on Spy Thrillers. They looked at what makes a “Spy Thriller”, like “Impossible Situations”, “Last Second Hero” and “Villain’s Lair”. The pupils of Primary 7 also looked at what characters are found in “Spy Thrillers” ie Spy Hero, Villain, Henchman, Controller and Gadget Inventor.

Once the children had completed their stories they got into groups and created a movie trailer. They used all the features they had learnt about from writing their stories, but also looked at how to make their trailer. They had to think about how camera angles, props, editing, music and location affected their story throughout the trailer.
