Let us introduce our brand new Eco Committee for this school year! After completing a review of the school facilities and practices, the children have chosen three topics to focus on. They are Water, Climate Change and Outdoor Learning. During their next meeting they will be making plans to decide what actions are needed to improve these areas. Already there have been lots of exciting ideas and we can’t wait to share them with you over the course of this year.

As well as this, P6 Eco Club children have just completed their two-week after school block. They have really enjoyed the experience and can’t wait to come again. The children have planted some beautiful flowers in welly boots which can now be seen on display at the front door. A lot of effort and hard work also went into weeding, removing moss and clearing leaves. One pupil has even designed a new sign for our ‘Minibeast Hotel’ which will be attached very soon….watch this space!
