In the Autumn term, and in preparation for the colder months, Eco Club were keen to ensure that food was provided for our local birds. Last week the children had fun making eco-friendly bird feeders using pinecones which they hung from the trees in our school garden.

The children have also been hard at work weeding, clearing, and preparing for the Spring growing season. Our caretaker Mr Henry helped us to position some old baths that we acquired to use as raised beds. We hope to plant edibles, herbs, and plants for pollinators in these new planters in our next Eco Club sessions.
