Well done to the Buick’s football team who played in three, 15 minute friendlies with Cullybackey College’s Year 8 team. It was great to play some of the boys from last year’s school team who won several titles over two years. In the first match it took a goal from the College, in the last few minutes, to separate the teams. In the second match the team gave a fantastic performance against a team that was on average 2 to 3 years older. The boys worked hard and really pushed the College to the very end and despite being 5-0 down with 2 minutes to go managed to score a goal as a reward for their efforts. The third match was another excellent display, with a lot of effort and commitment by both teams, to the final whistle. We would like to thank the College for this friendly and  look forward to the rematch in January.
