Well done to the Buick football team for making the Northern Ireland National Finals for a second time in two years, and also for giving up their day off school to test themselves against the best. The team played extremely well in the group stages scoring 7 goals and conceding only 3, but the semi final was a game too far. The boys gave their all against the best teams in Northern Ireland in the baking heat of 27 degrees.

This has been one of the school’s best ever teams having won 3 tournaments, runner up in 2 and playing in both Northern Ireland finals of 5 and 7 a-side this year. In fact, they are only one of two teams from Northern Ireland to make both 5 and 7 a-side national finals this year, and we believe this gives us a solid claim of being one of the best primary school football teams in the country.
