Term 2A- During this term we are learning lots of new and exciting things. In Literacy we are finding out how to write instructions- we do this practically first and then follow up with some writing. So far we’ve made a jam sandwich, chocolate nest, bird food and hot chocolate!

In Numeracy we’re working hard on our number bonds of 4,5,6 and 7, we’ve also been using money to develop our understanding of how much things cost.

Our topic work is all about birds! We’ve painted lots of different garden birds, made binoculars and hope to do some bird watching. Our playroom has been transformed into a bird watching den and we’re having so much fun thinking about how to create a bird house using wooden blocks.
