P6 have been time travelling! 

Today we went back in time to when Buick Memorial Primary School first opened under the guidance of the Rev Buick. We spent an interesting day re-enacting school life in Victorian Times to conclude our Victorian World Around Us Topic. The day had lots of surprises with writing on slates, using copy books, PE Victorian Style, Religious Education, Tables and Nature Study.

We had a traditional break of soda farls and butter which we all enjoyed.

We had an amazing day experiencing life in a Victorian school.

Thank you to all the parents who helped to organise the costumes and Mr Henry who found lots of Victorian artifacts which were in school, and we were able to use.
