At the end of October our whole school had the opportunity to think about how Jesus is the Light of the World- (as part of the RE curriculum.) The children explored what it means to shine their light for others through kindness, courage and love.  Each class decorated their own torch and shared who they want to be a light to in their family, school and community.  We also memorised John 8:12.

I am the light of the world.  Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.

We held a special assembly this week to celebrate our certificate and light prize winners.

Well done everyone!
