Odd Sock Day
As part of our Friendship Week (11th -15th November ), everyone at Buick took part in Odd Sock Day. The challenge was to come to school wearing odd socks and everyone in our school family took part. Miss Peters led the way showing off her socks in assembly. Our kitchen staff and caretaker also joined in the fun. At the special assembly lead by P6Q, they explained that the purpose of Odd Sock Day was to value our differences and celebrate the fact that everyone is unique. All the children from Nursery to P7 attended this special assembly. P6Q announced the winners of the whole school competition which was to design and then draw a sock which told everyone about themselves. Congratulations to all the winners. The fun continued all day and P6Q photographed all the classes and their amazing socks. Thank you to all the parents who helped sort out socks for today. Your support is very much appreciated and helped to make this another special day at Buick.
