For the third year running, Buick Memorial have been running their literacy community project of inviting members of the local community to come into school and read with our P4 children. The children are enjoying the opportunity of reading with their “Friend of Buick” partner, particularly getting the opportunity to discuss and chat about what they have read. All involved are finding their Tuesday morning a fun filled and exciting time of their week.

We would like to take the opportunity to thank all of those who come to help with this community project “Friends of Buick” and we look forward to seeing you all again in term 2.
