Our Eco Committee, alongside Cullybackey Community Partnership, organised a community litter pick around the school and village on Thursday 25^th May. Our Eco Committee successfully applied for a small grant from Wrigley’s Litter Less Campaign which allowed them to purchase gloves, bags and litter-pickers. This is part of their Eco School action to achieve Green Flag status for the school. It was a super initiative and was thoroughly enjoyed by all! We even had a visit from the Mayor who had heard about the event. We hope this helps Cullybackey Community Partnership as they work towards the ‘Ulster in Bloom’ and ‘Britain in Bloom’ competitions.
